Out and about at Mayfield Court, we believe that every day brings an opportunity to learn, explore and enjoy new experiences. Our residents have been making the most of a variety of activities both within the home and out in the local community. From relaxing coffee mornings and exciting cinema trips to days out with friends and staff, there has been plenty to enjoy.

Here's a look at some of the wonderful activities our residents have been taken part in recently.

Coffee & Catch-Ups

Our residents have been enjoying one-to-one coffee outings in local cafe's, giving them the opportunity to relax, socialise and spend quality time with staff. These personalised trips support independence, choice, and community engagement while providing a chance to enjoy a favourite drink and a friendly chat. Every outing is tailored to individual interests, helping residents build confidence and create meaningful experiences.

A Thriller of a Day at the Cinema

Residents recently enjoyed a fantastic trip to the cinema to watch the Michael Jackson movie. The outings were filled with excitement, music and plenty of memorable moments. Everyone had a wonderful time and thoroughly enjoyed the big screen experience.

Exploring New Places

Our residents have been making the most of the variety of individual and small group outings, enjoying trips tailored to their interests and preferences. From visits to local parks/beaches cafe's shopping trips and local attractions these outings provide valuable opportunities for social interaction, independence and fun. Whether exploring somewhere new or revisiting a favourite destination, every trip helps create lasting memories and meaningful experiences.

Autumn Adventures at Mayfield Court As the leaves start to fall and the air turns crisp, there’s no slowing down for our wonderful Mayfield residents! Even as the nights draw in and the jumpers come out, everyone has been making the most of the season with some fantastic days out and plenty of fun closer to home. We’ve enjoyed exciting trips to Knowsley Safari Park – where the lions, rhinos, and mischievous monkeys gave us plenty to talk about – and a fascinating visit to Madame Tussauds in Blackpool, where our residents got up close with some very famous faces!

Sunshine, Smiles and Seaside Adventures at Mayfield Court. The recent spell of glorious weather has brought a burst of energy and excitement to Mayfield Court. Our residents have been making the most of the sunshine, enjoying plenty of outings and fresh air. One of the favourite stops have been trips to a local coffee shop and a nice slice of cake! And of course who can resist a traditional pub lunch...a hearty lunch and a pint or two went down a treat!

Easter at Mayfield Court - A Visit to Remember! This Easter was truly special at Mayfield Court, as resident were treated to a delightful surprise - the Easter bunny himself made a fantastic appearance! Bringing joy, laughter and plenty of seasonal cheer, the Easter Bunny handed out chocolate eggs and thoughtful gifts to our residents. The smiles were contagious and everyone enjoyed the festive treats and the warm, joyful atmosphere.

Spring Activities at Mayfield Court As the days grow longer and the weather gets warmer, spring brings a fresh burst of energy to Mayfield Court. The sunshine, chirping birds, and blooming flowers create the perfect setting for us to enjoy a variety of activities with our residents. One of our favorite ways to embrace the season is by organising trips out. Whether it’s a leisurely shopping trip, a coffee break at a cosy café, or a delicious lunch at a local restaurant, these outings are always filled with laughter and great conversation. Our residents love the opportunity to explore, socialise, and enjoy a change of scenery.
